Mission –
The mission of the Cumby Municipal Court is the commitment to professionally serve the public by administering justice in a fair, efficient and respectful manner. Professionalism, courtesy and
effective communication is paramount to all whom come in contact with the Cumby Municipal Court.
The Municipal Court processes Class C misdemeanors resulting from violations of City ordinances and traffic citations.
The Municipal Court office is open Monday thru Friday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and can be reached at

Rules of the Court
Court is in session whenever the Judge is on the bench, at that time the following rules of proper attire and conduct must be observed by all person(s) in attendance unless the Judge directs otherwise.
Rules
• No eating, drinking, or chewing gum
• No smoking or use of tobacco products, including but not limited to snuff, chewing tobacco, or vapes
• No use of cell phones or electronic devices in the courtroom. All cell phones must be turned off of or on silent mode, except by express permission by the Judge.
• Absolutely NO weapons of any kind including but not limited to any type of knives or guns as directed by the judge.
Dress Code
No inappropriate attire will be tolerated including but not limited to-
• Shorts
• Tank tops
• Jeans with rips/holes
• Low pants (saggy) with underwear showing
• Slogan t-shirts
• Sunglasses
• Hats/Caps (unless a religious nature or for medical purpose)
